RADAR/Maturity of Organisation

❮ previous RADAR

In our maturity assessment tool, we leverage the basics of our Enterneering® Radar to assist in the state assessment of the maturity or capabilities of individuals or the entire company organisation. Please read our explanation about the implementation of Enterneering® before you start training with this tool. The content and expression may vary, depending on whether you want to focus on the maturity of executives (or of yourself) or your organisation’s maturity. In the implementation of Enterneering®, the results of the maturity assessment serve as an accompanying and preparatory tool for us, to adjust the sequence, number, and scope of the elements of Enterneering® to be implemented more effectively to the specific individual case.

Section 1 (spreadsheet Evaluation):

This spreadsheet is divided into three capability areas. For each of these three areas, we have defined and described several characteristics or states in our model, which serve as our assessment criteria. In our view, these criteria are meaningful and relevant for assessing the current maturity or capabilities per area. We have fixed these criteria in our tool as non-changeable cells within the framework of the usual assessment.

The individual assessment criteria do not have different weights within the framework of our model outline. In total, they lead to a total score per area (maturity level per area). In our tool, the user must enter his rating per criterion and area on the 1-10 scale (1=very low agreement, 10=very high agreement). In addition, our tool automatically calculates a 1-5 scale for the subsequent ranking. In this way, we establish comparability with the rating scales used in other models.

Section 2 (spreadsheet RADAR - Maturity):

In our model, the inputs from the 'Evaluation' spreadsheet led to the 'Radar - Maturity' being interpreted like a barometer or speedometer at the end. This means that the greater the deflection or higher the score per area or overall, the higher the maturity level. A particularly high maturity level thus suggests that the conditions for effective and sustainable implementation of Enterneering® are better than the other way around.

Finally, the results in a descending ranking created a priority or GAP list that helps identify measures to improve the maturity level.

In a maturity assessment, the total number determined is not in the foreground from our point of view, but rather the recognition of the need for action and improvement as well as weaknesses. Ultimately, working on the maturity level represents a continuous improvement process.
